60th Océ Quality Center
Océ branding helps commercial printers generate new business
Poing, Germany, 22 January 2007—Two years ago, Océ unveiled a business development campaign to help commercial printers generate new business opportunities: the 'Océ Quality Center', a seal of approval awarded to selected printers worldwide who use Océ technology and are dedicated to delivering added-value services to their clients. By the end of 2006, the net-work had grown to 60 partners.
A benchmark of excellence — delivering the difference
The Océ Quality Center complements and reinforces the branding of leading edge commercial printers who use Océ's innovative digital presses. To become an Océ Quality Center, print service providers must have a proven track record, be prepared to expand their service portfolio with Océ technology and take pro-active marketing measures to bring in new business. All over the world, the 'Océ Quality Center' distinguishes authorised commercial printers delivering the difference with innovative Océ technology.
At the first International Océ Quality Center conference, which was held at Lake Tegernsee in October 2006 in co-operation with the Büttenpapierfab-rik Gmund, the 50th Océ Quality Center joined this new international net-work.
Genius Media AG from Switzerland becomes 60th Quality Center
Since then, the network has expanded further. Genius Media AG of Frauenfeld in Switzerland joined in late 2006 and became the 60th Océ Quality Center member. Océ Switzerland was the first country to introduce this co-branding programme and has since developed a very active com-munity. Josef Simmerl, Océ's segment director of Digital Print Providers, says, 'The Océ Quality Center creates synergies for both Océ and the network partners to profitably grow business in the commercial printing market.' The target is to have 100 partners in Asia and Europe by the end of 2007.
