Océ published a white paper about the sustainability debate ‘paper versus digital’. The white paper describes the context of increasing concern about the impact of both analog and digital document management solutions in the area of environmental sustainability.

By finding responses to some of the issues on both sides, it presents a two-pronged approach of eco-efficient and eco-effective solutions that businesses can employ while managing both analog and digital document management. Océ’s philosophy is based on keeping a balance between what analog and digital solutions can afford us, and how both can be done eco-efficiently and eco-effectively. Paper and digital worlds need to co-exist, co-evolve and stay in balance.
